404 has just started reading another 600-page book that has nothing to do with her PhD.

Hmmm there has to be a way to make this less public. Some of us used to talk on msn last year with newly created user names. But then again, that's not any safer as we all gave the user IDs on here. Facebook seems to be the safest option for creating a private group closed to public. We can then PM others who do not have access to facebook?

Hi everyone. Just got back from a short break (nothing fancy but no computers... never thought that could be possible). I hope you're all well.

Are you all on the facebook group? It's just that we might need to make this a bit less-virtual in order to meet I think... Unless everyone is ok to just set a date and time here and see if anyone real will turn up :-)

I was away then I came back to something that I can't work out :p What's going ooooon? :-)

Let's just meet; in London and in Sheffield.... we can then meet again if it works out... Some people might be able to go to both meetings. I still suggest the same place for the London one. We can then move on to a pub or some venue that everyone agrees on.

Further to SillyBilly's suggestion, here is a new poll to decide 'when' to meet (in London).

Ok, let's do one in London first and see how it goes. For those who can make it, I suggest meeting at the building of Wellcome Collection, part of Wellcome Trust. It is very near to Euston and Kings Cross / Pancras Stations and British Library. It is free to get in, lots of seats, even a couple of exhibitions..... I think it would be practical to meet there.
