I think I'd like to do this job after PhD, even though it is not even remotely close to my subject area. It sounds like a happy title. And the location.... :-)

ok, I'm the worst person to give any advice on this, because I am really bad with anything that requires a routine... but I wanted to suggest something anyway. It would be very easy to create an online blog, that you can access from anywhere in the world. You don't have to make it public, you can lock it to others, or just allow some parts of it to people you work with etc. Here is how you can set up one (apologies if you already know how): (up)

Thanks Rubyw. I think I am worried about those points too. I do need the money, but I wouldn't want to jeopardise my academic career (if I have any) by following a wrong path. Hmmm decisions decisions... :-)

I have come across these two colleges while looking for a job, but I've never heard of them before. Even though they couldn't be Belford-like, I wanted to check with you guys instead of taking for granted what's written on their website. Would it be academically a false move to start teaching at places like these?
