HELP! can anyone explain social justice theory
4

yes. Wikipedia contains user-created content, and not peer-reviewed (they use editors but they can easily be 14 year olds...) But there's no harm using it for basic explanations; you can always back up and compare the info from other sites.

jo131278, I asked a similar question on this forum yesterday. No matter how much I read about the study, I couldn't understand how they justify and analyse data with this particular method. So I think I can understand how you feel. Hopefully you'll get your answer from someone who knows the subject. Good luck.

submit without supervisor reading all thesis?
4

such a difficult situation cc; and a difficult decision to make. It's not usually advisable to submit a thesis without a supervisor's go-ahead. But on the other hand, you can't let everyone read your thesis due to confidentiality, IP and etc. It is obvious that your supervisor don't (or won't) understand the urgency of this. If he's not approachable, you'll need to start solving this by going to someone higher than him. Is this supervisor also your director of studies?

thanks for pointing out that important detail o.stoll. I have Phenomenology in my methodology books, but not Phenomenography (but from what I read so far, they seem to share the same empirical approach). I don't know why I can't make myself understand the method.

PinkNeuron, no problem at all. Thank you for your time in writing though; you were only trying to help as rah says. You have loads on your mind these days and the two words are really similar.

yay! welcome back I hope you had a lovely wedding and a honeymoon. How is it to be back to the real life?

Thank you PinkNeuron. Starting to make sense; though I'm still confused

If it's not too much hassle, could you write the name of those books? The methodology books I have don't seem to cover it. And I can't make sense of the case studies that use this method.

lol HappyDays

Thank you Tricky. But would you need a third-party to analyse your data as the method sound to be less formal (more like personal interpretations)? How would yo justify the use of this method?

(Just a quick background: one of my supervisors suggested that I won't need to carry out further user-experiments but justify some of the previous work I did by explaining them with different methods. Phenomenography seems to fill this gap, but I feel so confused with it)

...in the most basic possible way please? Not in the form of links from google searches but preferably as if you were explaining it to a child?
