Oh dear! How am I going to wait for the result? Has anyone else attended an interview for a postdoc fellowship recently? I can't help wondering how many they interviewed and whether I should raise my hope or not.. Hmm I don't know what my question is really. Just wanted to talk about postdoc interviews. Ann?

That's great. I'm happy that you spent your time with useful and PhD-related things. I am writing-up but I keep noticing that I could have collected more data.

PinkNeuron, you have every right to give yourself some time to feel down and upset, as you were looking forward to this for a long time. However, I recommend submitting applications to funded places for the rest of the summer with the same proposal; and explain to supervisors that you were offered a place but couldn't secure funding. You might be able to find a fully funded place at another university.
