I'm funded, and I wrote my own project including its proposal. Some places ask for new ideas for available funding, and some places offer a funded place on a project that is either pre-arranged or taking place at the department already.

When I was writing my proposal, I found the Open University publications and their website very useful. I recommend visiting the site.

how did it go Piglet? By the way, have you searched for jobs at the Open university over there? If it's like the one here, the teaching method sounds easy and the pay is good.

no, I replied as soon as I saw it.

I am trying to limit my visits to the forum today, as I feel guilty about not writing my thesis . But now I feel like a cheater because I ended up spending a lot of time on another forum discussing torrents. My thesis will never finish with this rate.
