You can only get them for very specific programmes, like postgrad. law medicine accountancy etc. You can't get them for general masters or PhDs

wholly for the purposes of education mean just that - you are living in a country because you attend univeristy there. Ordinarily would mean if that was your home, regradless of going to uni there, for example, you may have moved there with your parents before you started studying and you are there as a consequence of that, not because you chose that institution. Hope you get what I mean. It doesn't sound as if you would be eligible, but why don't you try giving them a call. I've always found research councils really helpful!

Its a complete rollercoaster. You have to really love what you are doing to stick it out. The bad times are rubbish, but the good times are amazing!

As for citizenship, I don't think that has anything to do with it. At then end of the day, if you and you're family have not been paying taxes in this country, you cannot expect to be eligible to see any of that money payed back to you.

Hi, I'm not sure an alpha level is appropriate. I seriously doubt the parametric-ness of your data!! I still think Kelly's test of concordance is the way forward.
