That is specifically NOT the question! The question *really* is, do you want to make unnecessary opponents at this stage? And in any case, the fact that she is fourth author wil surely speak for itself.
Acknowledgement to supervisor and PhD scholarship in a paper?
Yes. Maybe acknowledge them- for their help, assistance, etc. (good politics!)- but not their grant, which is, after all, theirs to acknowledge; yours is for you.
