Ok but do you really have a reason then, for doing a postgrad course? I think it would be better to have an idea what you want to do, for example, you want to work in bioscience doing research. Then you can have a look to see how you would get to that job.

You need to think long and hard about whether going back to university is the right desicion. A lot of people resort to it because they don't want to work or they can't find the right job. In that case, you would be getting yourself into debt for funding a course that might be useful. To be honest funding is going to be hard. There are not many postgrad courses that offer funding and if they do, they will be competitive and with a 3rd you will have a lower chance that someone with a 2.1 or 1st.

What about becoming a teacher? Does that appeal to you in anyway?

I'm still not sure how you feel about research and your area (bioscience).

I agree with juno. You need to do some RESEARCH of your own.

Have you looked at possible courses that would interest you?

At the moment it sounds like you hate your job but don't really know what to do and going back to uni may be a possibility.

Do you want to get further in bioscience? What kind of job do you want to do? Maybe you would prefer to do accountancy?

Why is it galling that medics get 28-30k for a job where they will have to work weekends and nights and after being at university for 5-6 years? To be honest, they don't get paid enough for the amount of work they have to do.

Honeymoon will be in Bali (which I eventually decided on, took forever!).

Oh no, you must have a honeymoon, can't the kids stay with grandparents or aunts etc?

I too hate being the centre of attention, which is one of the reasons I would prefer a small wedding. To be honest, I can't wait till the whole thing is over and we are just married and can get on with it! However I am looking forward to the honeymoon!

Insomniac, when we went to India over xmas, we ended up on Mumbai beach at one point and there were people selling this wooden print blocks that you use with their special "henna". She did it on my mum's hand and it was really nice so my mum bought a few. The henna was more like ink though, so the colour fades everytime you wash it.

My cousin practised on my leg, looked nice.

I'll be having henna on my hands and feet done a couple of days before the wedding. Will probably use those blocks on everyone else who wants to have it done. Well easy and looks lovely.

Well that's just rude.

Boycott them and threaten to organise demonstrations, that should do the trick.

I'm glad you came back insomniac

I'm having a big traditional indian wedding which my parents are paying for. I wanted a small wedding but as I'm the first grandchild, I get no choice in the matter. My grandparents want to invite everyone. It's such a waste of money.

I haven't been watching it as much now that Jade has left.

However, I think Dirk will be up for nomination as most of the housemates don't like him.
