Good Morning folks :)

My goal today is to:

- Complete the study design
- Prepare for meeting
- Edit the document
- Submit

PhD research objectives - How many?

I understand that the amount of research objectives depends on each individual project, but I'd just like to know how many PhD objectives roughly people have?

It is possible to go straight from Undergrad to PhD - I know a few people who did.

Hi Socpol,

There are quite a few people on this forum who are mothers and will give you an insight on how difficult it is to have a baby and do a PhD. I would personally suggest, than unless you are ageing or have a medical reason, you should look at postponing the baby until you finish your PhD. It is incredibly difficult to juggle both roles (and I take my hat off to those who are doing it). You'd rather focus on your project and aim to finish early, then you can focus on motherhood. Just my two pence worth :)

Hi!

First of all, keeping aside which department you have got a place in, will you be able to do the project that you want to?

Secondly, are you able to fund your own PhD? If you are unable to then there is no point going forward with it.
