Doubts about being good enough?

Hi,

Just wanted to say that I know how you feel I have constant doubts about whether I'm capable enough, but then I'm like that about everything!! I'm also 4 months into my PhD and I have really bad days where I wonder if I will ever make it to the end. I hope it gets better for you soon. If it all gets too much have a good moan about it(moaning tends to make me feel better)!

the guilt of not getting out of bed gets me out of bed! Although I got into a bad habit of only managing to get into uni for about 9.30. How bad is that!!!

crystal I have the same views as you. Its very difficult to get the right balance. I only take drugs if I realy need to in order to avoid animal tested products. We can't turn back the clock be we can try and progress look into alternatives.

me neither. my supervisor hasn't said what hours I am expected to work. I'm finding hard to get on and not spend my days faffing.

my supervisor doesn't work in the lab so doesn'treally guide my working hours etc. I do it to stop myself feeling guilty. Sometimes I feel like I don't get much done in the day e.g. too much chating! so I do some at home.

hi I have have been doing my phd for 3 months now too. I feel guilty not doing stuff at home. I normally am in uni 9-5 I try an spend at least a few hours on sunday reading etc and a fe hours on 1 or two week nites
