I have started to make corrections and the points received by the examiners after the VIVA w almost raised by the examiners during the VIVA. my advice is to take VIVA as an opportunity to show your skills as a Ph.D. student to examiners and try to be full confidence when discussing any point and avoid arguing over any points with them. At the end, they know better than you and want you to PASS, so do not take it negatively at all.
Hi folks, I would like to share with you my experience about my viva, which just finished today, pass with minor corrections. When my sup finally set up the date i started to come here and read threads about how to face such a challenge, and found some threads disappointed which increased my tension and panic ! Many bad stories and how students faced before and during viva. However, I decided not to focus on bad stuff bcoz we don't know the full details of each case, and then I decided to focus on good stories before my viva.
To be continued..
