Hi.
Im abit confused.
I found that Wolverhampton University is not in the UK's universities table league. I have interview soon in the engineering department for a PhD studentship in Wolverhampton. My MSc from Liverpool university.
Do you any idea about how good is Wolverhampton uni?
Thanks
Hi All.
Please could you advise me about how good is the PhD in engineering at Open University, please note the PhD is not via distance learning it will based in the university campus under supervision of highly known Professor in his field.
Do you think it would be less than any other PhD degree from another university in the UK.
Thanks
Hi all.
I have applied for a PhD project at one of the UK unis, at the moment i have ILR visa, im married and live in the uk with my family, my naturalization to British citizenship is being processed in the Home Office at the moment i hope to receive my BC very soon. Any way i made fees assessment and got this reply from the uni
(((Your British citizenship will not make any difference to your classification as an international student. You have been classified as such because part of your three years period of residency July 2007 – November 2008, has been deemed for the purpose of full time education. You entered the UK on a student visa and confirmed that you did not decide to marry until November 2008. You were then issued with residence permit, as the spouse of a UK national in March 2009, following your marriage.
Taking the above into account, you will not be eligible for home fees until September 2012)))
My question is that possible????
Thank you.
Thank you all for your reply, such amazing guys really.
I do not know how many applicants applied on the same project, all i know its three projects sponsored by the same company, to be honest im a bit nervous i been in interviews before tho, but this one i really looking forward.
Thank you again.
