Try this Recipe for Finnan Haddie, only substitute trout for the haddock and it would be better--Finnan Troutie anyone?

Well, in the "buy a PhD thread" there is a new trout recipe posted. For the Scottish Widow and her caped look. Because of its tradition...

Capes are deff cool!!! Its the TRADITION about them that makes them so. Hoodies cannot compete. I mean, Dracula in a HOODIE! No...the image is lacking some romance. Erroll Flynn breaking into rescue the damsel in distress in a hoodie...its missing something!

I really need a study break!

Make mine a TRADITIONAL red brick university with TRADITIONAL library, TRADITIONAL fountain, TRADITIONAL statue in TRADITIONAL cape...and of course a TRADITIONAL PhD!

I think I need to go take a study break.

For instance, this trout recipe ( notice--as from the thread yesterday on the "traditional foods" like Mexican Doritos and Irish sauerkraut that this is a "traditional Scottish trout recipe")--the Scottish Widow being a traditional Scottish Widow, she would only be able to provide traditional receipes.

Don't succomb to cape-ism!!! That is a terrible social prejudice that the Scottish Widow must face. She is not a vampire, she just keeps her complexion clear because she is protected by her cape. Plus, she probably has her own university, library, fountain and statue somewhere. And she likes to exchange trout recipes with me!

A good day for me, have just kicked out 1700 fairly decently drafted words ( for my PhD, not my word count on here today! ) and still in good form to move on to Daily Project number 2.

As being discussed in other threads, why settle for merely buying some sheepskin? What about insisting on being PAID for being given the PhD, and each of us having our own red brick university built up over our heads, a library and a fountain in our names, a statue in gold to memoralise each of us forever? I will wear a cape in my statue, perhaps sort of that Scottish Widow look!

Will you sell those, or will they be handed out to the deserving through some kind of lottery? How will you distribute those PhDs? But still, I think you are aiming too low. I think that you should have a red brick university built up around your head, complete with a library and a fountain named for you, and a statute of you ( perhaps mounted on a horse or wearing a cape).

Helen Keller--coz they found a new picture of her. Tuberculosis--because her teacher's brother died of this and I was curious about the details of what it was. Yesterday I was quite interested in Katherine Synford, ( sometime) wife of John of Gaunt!
