Agree. Try Carmona 20 mins from Servilla ( easy jet fly to Servilla I think or Iberia for about £75). Beautiful historic town with loads of interesting history / moorish architecture and wonderful authentic tapas bars. There are frequent buses into Serville too - with the amazing Alcazar and moroccan influences + great night life. The tapas bar in Carmona on the plaza does THE BEST gazpacho in Andulcia. I ate bulls tail there 2 weeks ago.
Google Casa de Carmona - I promise you this is one of the most romantic hotels you can imagine and not outrageously expensive [bit not cheap]. Its also featured in the hip-hotels Atlas.
*clicks castonets and resolves to make gazpacho for diner*

LOL !

"nobody calling on the phooooooooneeeee.... 'cept for the pope maybe in Roooooooooome"

That has to be some of the lamest song lyric writing ever ever. Mmm well maybe Des'ire I'd rather have a bit of toast than see a ghost, or whatever.

Pointless song lyric factoid for today. I have been informed Prince did a cover of "what if God was one of us". Thankfully I have never heard it & I hope I never will.

Ed - I loved Goa. Went there a few years ago with my bessie mate & had a hilarious time.
Ultimate romantic cheap holiday location is Thailand. Forget Koh Samui, Phi Phi and all those places too touristy and over priced these days- Have a few days in BKK -Jim Thompson's house (awesome), Wat Po, Chutuchuck market at the weekend, floating market, river kwai & then go East right by the Cambodian boarder in the Koh Chang Marine park and relax on lonely beach, eat seafood BBQ and chill out on the cushions listening to the ocean and bizarrely baleric chillout.

My boyfriends Mum's roast dinner - I do everything in my power never to go over on a Sunday and have avoided Sunday roast for over a year. She cooks the meat for hours and cuts it up as soon as it come out of the oven, without letting it stand ( criminal if you are a foodie). Also she boils the veg more or less from the time she gets up so any flavour or texture has gone.

What "Ch" unes have people got on today?
P

I'v got a bit of "Bangra" chill out on the go. ace.

To do or not to do?

It depends where in the country you are & what your additional outgoings are aside from rent.
Don't want to worry you but I hope you aren't going to have to try and live of £600 per month in London!

Yes, it's all over!!

Do you know, before I even looked at this article, I hoped it might be in reference to Roland Rat, but this comes a close second.

FYI: I am deeply upset no-one picked up on my hilarious Joan Osborne song-lyric gag on the v.serious thread about religion in response to Dan B's question what if god was one of us?
Does anyone else remember that song........?
I guess it's back to singing to my my cat, at least she laughs at my jokes and enjoys my songs *hangs head in shame & looks for puss*
