Hi all,
Thanks for helping me so far (seeing as I have made previous requests for articles). I would really appreciate it if someone could get me this article. I need it quick, or I could have placed an inter-library loan through my university library services. Thanks for whoever helps me out!

How much can a PhD graduate expect to earn?
R

Hello all,
Just have a question on my mind regarding how much can someone who's completed PhD in a STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths) subject expect to earn, if say, he/she has had no work experience whatsoever in the past? I am mainly aiming the question to the UK university PhD postgraduates, but overseas responses are welcome as well. Also, response from anyone who has had been in a similar sitation (i.e completed PhD but no work experience) would be awesome. Thanks a lot.

Two days went by since my email to them, but no reply yet...

Well, Ady or someone else, I needed access to another two articles which again is outside my institusyion's subscripton. Thanks.

1. Miniaturized electrostatic analyzer manufactured using photolithographic etching
article link: http://rsi.aip.org/resource/1/rsinak/v74/i3/p1192_s1?isAuthorized=no

2. Atomic Nitrogen and Oxygen Ions in the Daytime High Latitude F Region
article link: http://europa.agu.org/?uri=/journals/ja/JA085iA03p01255.xml&view=article

Thanks and I am grateful to Ady and others for their assistance with finding the articles. A bit on the side, atm my thesis looks like a zoo -- there are just too many things to suss out how I should really be narrowing it down...hmm, maybe will make a thread about it at some point..

Hi there,
Not sure if this is a journal article or just an conference presentation, but access to it could hold the key to my project! Would any of you good folks out there be kind enough to get me a full copy of the article named below. If not, atleast guide me as to how I could possibly get access to it? From what I see (the link below), it somehow seems to exist in abstract format only, but surely there must be a full version of it somewhere...please advice and help! thanks a bunch!

Article name:Development of a MEM Based Satellite Anemometer
article link: it is the first B01 article in this link: http://flux.aps.org/meetings/YR98/BAPSTSS98/tocB.html

Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I am doing my masters course, and at this time of the year life is all encircled with thesis work...
I really really need access to these two articles badly, and my local university subscrciption does not cover either AIP or the IEEE journal. If any one of you can kindly provide me with some help on this: if you have access to either (or both would be awesome :D) articles, please let me know.
A lot of thanks in advance. And good luck to all you fellas out there currently doing their thesis.

1. Article title: A new satellite borne neutral wind measurement for thermospheric diagnostics
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_all.jsp?tp=&arnumber=5003255

or
http://rsi.aip.org/resource/1/rsinak/v78/i11/p114501_s1?isAuthorized=no

2. Article title: Errors in ram velocity and temperature measurements inferred from satellite-borne retarding potential analyzers
article link: http://pop.aip.org/resource/1/phpaen/v15/i6/p062905_s1?isAuthorized=no

thanks a lot!

Edit: Just found there is further published information on the second article..

3. article title: 'A statistical analysis of systematic errors in temperature and ram velocity estimates from satellite-borne retarding potential analyzers'
article link: http://pop.aip.org/resource/1/phpaen/v16/i5/p052901_s1?isAuthorized=no

that makes em three in all!
