Its very much what would have my dream job if I hadn't have decided to do the PhD; I want a career as an academic and the PhD is my priority. I would still do the PhD - that's what I want to do - I'm just finding it very difficult to forget about the job advert!!! But I don't know if I want to take on a demanding job when it isn't what I want to do in the long-term. The answer is I shouldn't even apply and I should concentrate on the PhD....I think!

Can anyone help me come up with Tuesday's particularly silly question?

I've got a question...

...I took an 'easy' PT admin job whilst doing my PhD (also PT) and been doing that about about 6 months

8 months ago I applied for my absolute dream job (PT) but lost out to a more qualified person BUT just found out it didn't work out with this person and they are moving on. They've readvertised the post BUT its now FT (fairly demanding marketing job). I rang them up and they remembered me from last time and want me to reapply

Do I apply???
