I'll have a look on my mac in the morning... It is supposed to be a grey block across the bottom that stays there but I'll have a look on mac firefox, safari, chrome and opera. Might be monday before I can get a fix though I'm afraid

We've spotted the problem some of you are having (thanks Ady). I think a hard refresh should sort it (CTRL+F5) but we are puttig something into place so that it wont happen again

It's nice around there. Very leafy too!

I believe Sheffield has one of the highest (if not the highest) rate for people who stay in the city after their studies so that is a great compliment to the city. I personally love living here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It isn't too big but there's lots going off. Sheffield people love Sheffield and are very proud and protective of their city. Come and join us... you'll never leave!!

There has been lots of developement in the city and over the last 5 or so years it has changed a lot (for the better). A lot of the tired old buildings/areas are being redeveloped. There's lots of accommodation around too.

Agree that I would stay clear of Broomhall (not Broomhill - that's nice).

Are you thinking of travelling to the Postgraduate Fair in Manchester? Do you need a little help with your travel costs? FindAMasters/FindAPhD is giving away cash travel bursaries up to the value of £10 to the first 300 students to register with us!

Are you Eligible?

You must be full-time or part-time student studying at a UK university outside of the Greater Manchester area. We cannot accept applications from students studying at The University of Manchester, The University of Salford, Manchester Metropolitan University or The Royal Northern College of Music.

To claim your bursary, you must fill out the online registration form and bring the following documents to the FindAMasters/FindAPhD stand on the day of the fair:

* Your Student Union membership card
* Proof of travel on the day (e.g. train or coach ticket)

If you fail to bring both these items to the fair you will not be able to claim your travel bursary.

Only the first 300 students to pre-register on these pages will be eligible to claim.
