I should be handing in my thesis in the next couple of weeks .. Make sure you write down your refrences as you go along. Do not put them to one side and say you will do it later so that you finish your thoughts, trust me otherwise you will end up wasting alot of time looking for all those references that you had used lol.

Appendices, you will know how important it is to put in main work or appendices once u get to it. generally, tables which you dont think will add extra information to your work (because you have graphs) or vice versa then just put in appendices.

Good morning everyone... this is becoming like the first thing i do before i start anywork (getting on to this thread)

My goals are
1) edit some parts of intro and methods
2) sort out some important refrences ( i cant remember where my articles are for this!!)
3) write an abstract
i would write one more goal but it might not get done ..lol i'll write it anyway
4) write a list of abbreviations (even if its just a draft)hh

I think i have finished writing my conclusion to one of my chapters. I have just called a friend and demanded they get on line to proof read it for me. I dont think i need to tell you what kind of an asnwer i got :p

aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... how difficult can it be writing a conclusion to a chapter. I'm sure i have been sitting here for ages just writing and deleting :-s. I will have another go now

wohoo.. go sneaks go ... i have put all my chapters together.. need to write a conclusion to one of them i have been running away from this bit for ages .. :p

Wow sneaks .. you are really motivated .. you get back to work bang on time. And well done algaequeen. I am now gonna put all my chapters together to see what they look like before i do anything else.

My Supervisor recently marked one of my chapters which i thought was full of useful information. But you know what? actually none of it was really relevant and i had to discard it, but i didnt realise that because i was so afraid that i needed to have alot of information. So just remember that, after all your hard work and wasted hours reading so many things that u think are important, you may not even use them.

I think its becuase these particular two things, i needed to do them to get certain results. But once i got the results i didnt really need them or talk about them in any other way. So what i have just done now is add an extra sentence to my chapter, saying For results of so and so (well not so and so .. you know what i mean) please refere to Appendix 1

I didnt set any goals today, but got more done than what i would have if i set a goal ...lol
