Cheese and apple, and cheese and fruit cake are both great combinations.

Can't say I'm up for cheese and jam. I can just about see how something like Philadelphia might be ok with jam but if you're talking mature cheddar (or please no, stilton) with strawberry conserve then yuck yuck yuck!!

At least I'm prepared now and bring newspapers, rubber gloves, baby wipes and anti-bacterial hand gel

Piglet, you could be really traditional and try it with salad...but that's a bit conventional and I get the feeling that you are up for a new experience, so go straight to fish fingers and chips with salad cream

I've only got cats now. Have to take one to vets in the morning for a booster jab, I'm dreading it. He's very nervous and it all gets too much for him, not to put to fine a point on it

Has anyone tried Heinz tomato and chilli table sauce? I was a little disappointed - somehow it is neither tomatoey enough nor spicy enough...

Hehe Piglet! I can say with hand on heart that our corgi's father was indeed one of the Queen's stud dogs!! We got her cheap because the poor doggy suffered from eczema (only very mild but she couldn't be shown).
