Does anyone mind if I have an off topic rant?!

I've had the day off today because I've been working solid all week, and I need to get things sorted because me and other half are going away for the weekend tomorrow.

But instead of sorting everything out, I decided to rearrange all the furniture in my living room- 3 and a half hours later I realised that the only way things would fit, and go into plugs etc was how it was originally. Cue another hour of moving everything back to where it was in the first place, and now I've got a really really sore back :-s:-s:-s I'm now absolutely shattered, in pain, and NOW have to start all the jobs I was meant to do in the first place!

Knowledge of the day: don't rearrange furniture if it's okay where it was in the first place!

The minute I saw my fiance I knew- 4 years later we're getting married :) after about two weeks he told me he loved me and I felt exactly the same- something I had never thought was possible after such a short time!

So yes KB, it is definitely possible, and just enjoy it!

I was similar to you though Sneaks- when I met him he was this timid, chavvy boy in the corner, wearing lots of Fred Perry t-shirts...now he's the most confident, outgoing person I know (he talks in front of millions of people without any nerves!) and he dresses very smartly!

Hi everyone, my goals for today are:

Goal 1- write introduction

Goal 2- edit findings, discussion and conclusion

Goal 3- sort q's to ask sup

Goal 4- print everything ready for sup meeting tomorrow

I'm going to be working again today, I'm on a bit of a roll so I want to keep it up!

I did goal 4 yesterday but not goal 5, so goals for today are:

Goal 1- decide whether I need summary for discussion and if so write it

Goal 2- read everything I wrote yesterday and edit if necessary

Goal 3- write conclusion

No probs pineapple, we all have down days and it's comforting to know you're not alone!

Goals 2 and 3 are done, so:

Goal 4- write section 4.7

Goal 5- decide if I need a summary section and if so write it!

Pineapple, don't feel alone, we are all here and we are all going through the same thing :) I'm positive your supervisors believe in you otherwise you would never have got this far! They just perhaps don't show it to you. Just keep going, it sounds like it will all be over for you soon :)

Anyway, my first goal is done so onto the second after my brew.

Morning sneaks!

I've done goals 1, 2 and 3, but they were easy goals. The next things to do are:

Goal 4- work out what to put in section 4.4

Morning all,

I'm really tired this morning so I don't know how successful I'm going to be today, but I'll give it a go;

Goal 1- read what written for discussion so far
Goal 2- add in bit about 3 factors
Goal 3- add in other factors which could have had an impact

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm stressed. Goal 1 is done, but it's just made me realise that I have two major issues with dissertation that I need to discuss but I don't actually know what I'm trying to say. So I can see my whole day being taken up looking at that, and I wanted to go wedding ring shopping grr! I've got a "to do today" list as long as my arm, so I best get going.

Hi algaequeen/sneaks

I didn't post yesterday but I was drifting around. I also had quite a successful day and wrote 1700 words of my discussion. It's really wierd- 1700 words is my official daily word limit, my brain shuts down after that!

Anyway, my first few goals for today are:

Goal 1- sort out the notes I wrote yesterday at uni
Goal 2- read everything I wrote yesterday
Goal 3- write section 5.3 of discussion

Morning all, I've not done any work for 2 days and had a lie in this morning :$ so I really must get on with work today! My aim for today is to do a plan for my discussion section so;

Goal 1- read books/journals to prep for discussion section
