Keep-calm, I hadn't thought of that! Now I have it in my head too!

I have FINALLY done goal 2, now for my Gregg's tuna sandwich (om nom nom)

Goal 3- start next section of assignment, but maybe go for a wander in town too

Goal 1 done woohoo, now for goal 2, the hard part :(

Morning everyone! My goals for this morning are:

Goal 1- read over evrything I wrote yesterday and edit if necessary

Goal 2- Write next section of assignment

Only just managed to get Goals 3 and 4 done, but at least they are done! Managed to write 1,800 words today which I'm really pleased about!

Goal 5- go to Asda

Goal 6- Start reading interview info until other half comes home and starts demanding his tea!

I have done goals 1 and 2, in actual fact instead of writing 500 words I've managed to whack out 1000 words so far! Not bad considering I haven't written anything for so long. Although I must admit this is the easy bit!

Goal 3- finish context

Goal 4- do rationale and work out whether I need to rearrange the order

I want to do those before lunchtime (I always have a late lunch) as like you Sneaks, I go a bit sleepy after lunch!

I did goals 2 and 3, and went for a wander in town. My goals for after tea (seeing as other half is out until 9:30pm) are:

Goal 4- finish reading book and type notes up

Goal 5- Have a very brief look at stats (yuk yuk yuk!)

I do agree with Sneaks that it is due to getting older! I went out into town on student night with my other half (he now works full-time but did his undergrad with me), and he couldn't stop laughing at how I grimaced at the loud music! And I found it funny that he was tutting at all the really drunk undergrads! But I'm exactly the same, the day after I was absolutely knackered and couldn't even dream about doing any of my MA work. So my nights out are very few and far between.

BUT, I'm starting my PhD in October and am absolutely determined that I will have a life outside of it. Obviously doing a PhD is very important, and I'm 100% committed, but I just really don't want it to take over my life. I'm actually so set on ensuring that it doesn't become my whole life that I'm getting married in the first year of my PhD. I want to marry my other half and don't want doing a PhD to get in the way of that!

I find that I try and work 9-5ish (I have never been a night owl) and then when my other half comes home we have tea, then we'll stick a dvd on or something and then I'll sit with his laptop on my knee sorting wedding stuff! You can have a life!

My goal is to arrange all the notes I've got for an assignment that I need to write soon, and then send a plan to my supervisor. Hopefully I can get that done before lunch and then I can maybe go into town this afternoon for a wander!

I've finished organising publication notes, and my notes from books this morning yay.

Next goal for the day is to organise my notes from journal articles and then start typing them up before the grand national.

But some cheese on toast first!
