I know starting with intro is probablly silly but I feel I can quickly write it and then add to it at the end and I will feel that I have acheived something!
hi i have a puppy- hes now nearly 9 months old. Hes a great company when working at home and my husband is at work all day but sometimes he can be a pain in the ass!! Rawhide bones from the pet shop are a life saver- currently he is happily sitting on the chair in my office at home, munching it - will keep him busy for a good hour. And then after lunch he'll come back to it again! He just follows me about. Yes a good walk is also good- then he curls up and sleeps in the office! Im learning quickly not to leave anything accessible - jaffa cakes on the windowsill were reached this morning and hes only a minature schnauzer
Hey great to hear the progress. I'm starting the intense writing stage now with all lab work etc behind me. Though I'm nearly 7 months pregnant so will not be submitting in sept. the plan is to get as much done now as possible before arrival of bambino then finish part time in the new year thereby aiming for submission by sept 09. Aim is 3 chapters written before bambino arrives- took last week off and sorted out my house, baby's room etc so today is writing day 1. I'm liking the fact I'm not alone in my write up!
I am in final year of my PhD and pregnant. Baby due before end of funding so will get the 4 months maternity leave from my funding body. Trying to find out if I can claim statutory maternity pay or maternity allowance for the rest of the time ie up to 9 months if that what I want. Anyone have any answers or been through this before? Struggling to find anyone in my uni that can help!!! Thanks
hey I totally know what you mean. I'm just starting my 3rd and hopefully final year of phd and its driving me mad. All motivation is gone! I got married last year in the midst of it and that was busy but fine. I've recently discovered I'm pregnant and just feel like packing it all in! Although equally the effort I've put in to get this far I want to just get it finished. All the actual research is done- I need to do some lab work to anaylsis everything and write up. Tiredness isn't helping. Sorry not to offer any advice. But I'm with you on this!
