You can submit two PhD finding aps' to the AHRC. Any funding beyond three years you have to apply for again...

I am curently sending off my second and final application! Argh!

I always wear my smarter casual clothes at supervisions and when presenting papers or mixing with departmental people in seminars or events - nice jumpers, shirts, smart t-shirts. But when I'm just off to the library or just everyday stuff I have no problem wearing three day old jeans....

Arts based PhD's are good in that the freedom from the lab makes them more flexible. It is def giving it a try!

I am currently recieve fees only funding from my uni and this is the last chance I have of applying the the AHRC (the rejected me last year...only allowed two attempts). So I'm feeling the pressure. I think I can do a better job than last year but I can't stop thinking that this is my last chance....

I'm up all night - I have a splitting headache, and the only thing keeping my going is the prospect of my byf coming over this afternoon for dinner and a movie (sigh...I'll probbaly just fall alseep on the sofa anyway). Argh! I have almost finished the hard stuff and I expect to start trying to impose order on the fragments around 7,30ish am and then finish doing the bib by 10am. Then I'll go home, shower, eat -then final proof read before emailing off.
