I have submitted!!! It feels weird. Sort of like relief but also the fear that if there is something wrong with it i cant change it!!

Well have to finish off the discussion of one of my results chapters and fiddle with my intro and do all the formatting stuff.

Just think the final discussion is pointless, just going over old ground.

I think near the end it is common for you to doubt your thesis. You have worked so long and hard on it I suppose you think it can never be perfect.I thin that and I am handing in next week. All you can do is your best. No-one can ask for more and to be fair you are always your own worst critic.

Think i have hit a dead calm!! Its weird and not natural!We can do it! its nearly over. Though am shocked to learn that i only get 10% of any royalty my thesis makes from the British library if anyone is sad enough to buy it!!

Congrats on the paper!! When i published I was sad and kept looking myself up on pubmed!! 10 days till thesis submission!! Cant wait. am going to have a big drink.

I agree with PC_Geek, external activities would be a good way of meeting people and making good quality mates. You dont need the approval of these people and to be honest I dont think they would make good mates if they are so quick to prejudge people.

As long as you are happy with yourself and your work, sod them!!

Too be honest, I will be glad not having to do corrections on sections that are ok in one draft but not the other or take sections out then put them back in!
I hate thesis writing!! Esp when the deadline is getting tight and you are waiting for stuff.

You could ask your supervisor. They should be happy you are submitting!

As i sit here and write my thesis, it does madden me that a PhD can be bought. To be honest though I think we know which PhD a future employer would prefere, a hard earned one or the easy way out a bought one!!

My back and neck is sore too, sjo4!! Think i must lean my head to one side when i type. Tis damaging to your health writing a thesis!!
