Am thinking of buying bottle of champagne to drink afterwards, but maybe that is a bit presumptive! Maybe just buy the trousers, and then champagne afterwards if it goes well. Ten pints of beer if it doesnt!

Thanks for all the good lucks everyone. Thats a good idea going to buy something new for confidence. Maybe I should splash out? There's a really nice pair of black skinny Diesel trousers I want, but not sure I can really justify buying them as they dont shout out 'we are viva trousers!'

Poor you! Just remember its a human mistake and we all make them. If I were you I would tell my supervisor asap, hopefully she or he will make you feel a bit better about the situation and give you some advice

Echinecea (not sure of spelling) is the old thing that really works. However, you have to dose yourself up with it immediately, as soon as the symptoms of the cold arise. It wont work once the cold is in full flow. If it is, then my only advice is bed, dvds, hot chocolate and warm ginger cake ... umm, sounds rather nice!
