Missed you all, what's the gossip?

Hi pea, I'm fine, how are you? Arm not doing too badly thanks, its almost healed but not quite. However I had an accident this morning: tripped over whilst running, fell flat on my face, got two MASSIVE grazes on my face, also on hand and knees. Was covered in blood. But still managed to run another four miles home (although had very strange looks!!)

Actually, I'm getting a bit bored of facebook. Hate the way it tells everyone what you're doing - ok, I realise that i have to input the information first - but that's part of the addiction!

The main thing is that I now have enough strength in my arm to type messages on Facebook!!

Because I've found the joys of Facebook. Anyone else addicted?!

i.m still in hospital surrounded by old ladies! feeling ok and arm doesnt hurt, just annoying and bored. i'm still on iv antibiotics but with any luck they'll send me home today.. fed up !

operation this afternoon, im scared

unfortunately i dont have a cast, its just suspended in a collar and cuff which doesnt feel very secure. they want to see if it would heal itself but after a week it is still bad and painful so they're going to operate and attach it together with a metal plate.

But some good news: just been told that I have now formally passed my PhD, all amendments were fine

Ann, i still highly recommend the cycling thing, but just not in the wind. I reckon the cost to the environment of my operation will probably be less than if id driven to work all this time

got blown off my bike last week and broke right arm (am right handed). got surgery at weekend, feeling pretty miserable. jokes please!

The Cabinet rooms are a short walk away from Westminster Abbey. If you go to London first week of August I'll be singing in Westminster Abbey with a choir I'm in

I love the Imperial War Museum in Covent Garden. The war cabinet rooms in Westminster are also really cool except you have to pay to go in them. The next time I go to London I'm hoping to go the new Somme museum

Good plan, I've decided to go through my clothes tonight and put those I dont wear on ebay
