I've always wanted to read Mein Kampf, just as an insight into a social period and delusioned mind, but I'm to embarrased to order it from the library in case people think I sympathise with Nazism. Also it might freak me out having it on my bedside table!

This is a really tricky question. I am still giving serious thought to my fairtrade, vegan cafe. I wouldnt have to prove my intelligence anymore and I could just make smoothies all day

I used to DJ happy hardcore, but then I sold my decks and bought a grand piano. I dont have lots of money, but I was pissed at the time and it seemed like a good thing to spend my overdraft on. So now I stay in trying to save money to pay off my overdraft, juice vegetables up with my juicer, run, read books, win Monopoly, get drunk, get paranoid about my liver, get drunk again, sing in the cathedral choir, and sponsor a dog called Bob. My friends think I have a split personality because one minute I'm clubbing and (literally) the next minute I'm singing in the cathedral, but my mother says it's just because I'm special

Oh, I know this sounds really pathetic, but I hurt my knee running, and so I couldnt go. It hurt just to walk about the house and there was no way I could have run around the countryside. But I'm going to help out on a stall for the animal rights people this week to make up for it!

My favourite book ever is Testament of Youth by Vera Britten, have to read it atleast once a year.

The end is now in sight for me! It's been about two years and a half, but the first year of that was taken up doing a research diploma. It must be because I'm soc sci, as I dont recall working anywhere near the hours you scientists seem to work

I always buy fairtrade stuff if I can, although I find you have to really hunt for decent fair trade clothes. About a year ago I thought to myself, even though I'm poor it's all relative, and my poverty is nothing compared to some of the people in the world. Even though I try to buy fairtrade and environmentally friendly products (like toilet roll, washingup liquid etc.) my shopping bill isnt that huge because I dont eat meat or dairy products. Even organic veg doesnt cost that much compared to a steak.

It's a nice feeling isnt it? I realised a few days ago that if I work really hard for the next 10 weeks I'll have most of my thesis written up and I can go on holiday for the remainding three months of my studentship. But its the working really hard bit that is the problem!
