I'm going to go and see him today (he lives three hours drive from me). I'm really nervous as we've only been together less than two weeks. It feels a bit weird.

I have news on my crushes. I decided not to pursue any of them, and have just started going out with my male best friend Its all very bizarre, but also very nice and feels 'right' if a little surreal. Atleast no awkward silences not knowing what to say to each other

I thought it would take me a week to work off my Christmas fat, but its going to take about a month of solid excercise! Think I drank more than I thought I had!!

All you lot who want to quit - dont! It is an amazing feeling when you eventually pass, and that feeling makes up for the three years of hard work(although I actually enjoyed most of my phd, so I'm perhaps not the best person to advise!)

I think the best thing to do is the pretend your sick and give yourself a couple of days to catch up. Or cant you set a date to meet up in about a week, when you'll have done some work?
