Yeh - did nothing and ended up away last BH but this one I have to work

I love starting things... but i am a VERY BAD finisher. I have to hand stuff in soon and i need to sort out my results, discusssion and future work chapter. Bascially the final slog. How do you all do it - I dont even wnat to LOOK at this work much longer........!!!!

Don;t think its up to us to judge the way that PinkNeuron is educating her children! Its her business.

Having said that - my supervisors will have the meeting with me but wont have read my work. SO at the end of the day..... its all relative!!! GOOD LUCK!

Its difficult waiting for feedback./ My tactic is - as soon as I give something in, I make a date to discuss teh chapter in the meeting. Usually give 3 -4 weeks. The week before usually remind them abotu the meeting, day before say i am lookingfoward to discussing feedback in next meeting. It usually helps if you take teh lead. It depends on your supervisor - do they know how vitla your feedback is? You cant expect them to read your mind. They need to be told....

I think alot of these problems could be solved to if you wanted to solve them. The question is how much do you want to solve them. TBH if you thought that your research area etc was getting a bore then i would be more worried. But the issues you are mentioning are normal phd issues. Communicate with other phd students in your department - your not the only one who feels like this.

Talk to head of your grad schoool. That may help.

I am taking the weekend off.... its strange but i am looking forward to it. I know i have alot to do... bt i jst want to not think about work!

It sucks big time. In my meeting my first busy sup asked me what i found etc. I told like ive been telling for the last 4 meetings. No response. Today she was like BUT this goes against my hypothesis. Make sure you are able to back this up well at your mini-thesis viva. I am going insane. These people didnt care when i was doing my questionnaires and studies....agrh

scissors....nah - put it thru the shredder so they dont have to read any of it... reading work - whats that?? I surely cannot impose on my supervisors to read my work... whatever was i thinking....

Everything will be fine!!!! It has to be right???? I'll sort it out. Oh well. I dunno. I am going insnae but it will be fine. Oh well. I will be assertive and demand a meeting. Its annoying cos all of my mates know their internal examiner and ive never met her befoer and theyre not letting me meet her for coffee!!! Agth! I should stop ranting and start cutting my transfer into half!
