Hahaha, I noticed the advert too. When I saw the first 'error', I thought "I won't be using your service thank you very much", but as soon as I saw the second I was pretty certain that the poor grammar and spelling is intentional. Poor advertisers- I bet they were very pleased with themselves and their oh-so-clever little banner too! :-)
LOVING the poem Jepsonclough.
I didn't notice the ad before either, I screen them out too. I think proof reading services are a bad idea anyhow, my friend's boyfriend, who once won an award for being a top English teacher, offered to proof read my stuff, but I've declined. I reckon I need to do this myself so that I can stand on my own two feet. Plus, no-one else can really understand exactly what you are trying to say and much can be lost, or expressed, in a grammatical detail.
Can't take the credit for the poem a (non academic) friend of my brother's posted it on facebook and I stole it (I'm sure he didn't write it either.) I'm going to use it with my first years to prove the error of relying on just the spellchecker.
I thought it was out of order. Especially that it was obviously a joke.
Plus I'd be offended - "There’s a fine line between irony and stupidity"

Also, if it bothers them they can email her rather than trying to publicly humiliate them. Also, I've worked out who it is from a nearly identical line from on here
I think this thread has actually given her some publicity though - I actually clicked through to her website to see the comments discussed in the previous few posts, so I actually read the website and would consider using her service, now that i know its a joke AND if I had enough money (up)
