I dont think planning permission was needed as it was under 9" tall.. But I think he will need plannign permission if he wants to build the dustbin swimming pool

It's ok DanC, you don't sound anything like DanB, he is definately a lot more careful when it comes to grammar, punctuation and spelling. He detests text speak as well.
