Hiya Doodles! That's right, DJ Wickid posted her choc cake recipe for me to try. I do enjoy baking but have to be in the right mood - sometimes it's too much like being in the lab e.g. carefully weighing out ingredients, following the protocol (recipe), anxiously waiting for the results etc. Only difference is I tend not to double glove when cooking at home... ;o)

Yeah I know what you mean. That's how I feel. Do you still have the recipe as I would love to try it out? Choc cake being a particular favourite of mine! As for the double glove we'll have to sort that out - where would Delia be without hers? ;)

It wasn't a recipe as such, Wickid told us how to make a choc cake in the vegan style i.e. replace eggs with egg substitute, use vegan choc (Wickid recommends Green & Blacks IIRC), soya marg instead of butter. I expect any good choc cake recipe could be adapted but maybe Wickid could give us her recommendations? :o)

Thanks Ann. That sounds like a good idea. I've just seen this post again so I guess they've moved it over. Maybe I can fit some baking in between everything else I have to do!! I wish!! Getting very busy at the moment.
