I've tried to take a look on Google Maps but it won't load for me . If in the city you need to heed the following advice (apparently)....
"If you are a foreign woman, don't tell anyone (except trusted friends) where you are staying unless you want everyone you meet to show up at your hotel or home."

It's not really feeling sorry for oneself, more a case of going quietly mad and around and around in circles. Pear drops are okay I suppose, if you're a boring sweet eater with no sense of style or taste.
Thanks for the link to the online sweetshop, Aloha. It gave me food for thought and I bought my lady friend a selection of the finest traditional sweets (along with expensive perfume) for her birthday. She may think I'm slightly original now...hehe
