Wow! I can't believe this post is still going!!! I posted here years ago when I was still in the wide eyed and optimistic phase of thinking that a PhD would be the best thing in the world! Well I know better now in my 4th year and trying to write up!!!! Haven't been on since then as my life has been consumed by endless lab work or PhD work non-stop!!! It just takes over your life!!!! Glad to see the post is going!!! (up)
I think people will find that Kedgeree was infact devised specifically for use by domestic science teachers in comprerhensive schools. Its purpose was revenge: a dish that would spill easily and spread with embarassing gusto across either level of a double decker bus. It found its strength of purpose when carried home covered in a tea towel by cheeky pupils. FACT.
Borrowing from my peers in collaborative knowledge sharing environments and shared learning etc, for what it's worth, have a look at this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kedgeree
The only relevance this has to me is that I would love some food right about now...some really tasty chicken and some rice or perhaps awesome chowmein...
(sigh).
Tesco frozen pizza and powder soup.
Bonne nuit...
Bug!!! really, I thought better of you than to rely on wiki for proof, everyone nows how unreliable it is. My findings on Kedgeree are garnered from years of field research and primary accounts!!
Thanks for the CV tip Katie21, will defo give it a go.
