Rubyw wishes she hadn't cut her fringe quite so enthusiastically late last night, as it looks a bit odd today. She hopes other forum users will learn from her unfortunate experience and hopefully avoid bad haircut days in the future. She is probably spamming this thread singlehandedly at the moment (sorry!), but is doing it in utter delight at the forum working again. (up)
Scienceishard is grateful for Rubyw's advice. Was considering giving my own hair a chop - what with the credit crunch and all that, but have thought against it. Nothing makes you more self conscious than a hair cut you hastily gave yourself. Don't worry though Ruby, the best part is.. usually nobody notices and I'm sure it looks fine!:-)
chrisrolinski seriously hopes that his thesis committee accepts his request for an extension of a week before he submits his chapter for a review. please, he needs this.
Scienceishard is impressed that Rubyw owns swiss army knife scissors with a mini red torch!:p ...... and also a little bit jealous!

Sylvester doesn't get it. He's worked brilliantly all week, knocking off one task after another and no procrastination. What's brought about the change? The good weather? All the cycling he's been doing making him feel more energetic? Sticking to his schedule? The Leechblock software banning him from all his procrastinating websites in the daytime? The start of term? Whichever it is, it's working and long may it last!...Cue lousy day tomorrow!!!
