28000 words? Wow, the university say my PhD Thesis is restricted to 50000 words! Presumably because it is science based though - less words more numbers.

It makes it sound like I did loads of work but I faffed around mostly. Dunno why it ended up being so much, I don't waffle on either.

I'm 4 months in and have filled a lab book with data, read about 50 papers and have many more to read. haven't written a single thing though.
