Thanks ! A kind friend with his knowledge of word has taken my (what I thought) was formatted document and spent the best part of a day formatting things. It really looks like a thesis now. I could have never have done this without help.
Footnotes are better than I though, just need standardising. still the abstract looms...500 words to sum up!
Make sure you stress your contribution in the abstract Chris, i.e. why your work is important, and what your big conclusions were, and why it's new and important. That way you hit the examiners with this before they read the rest of it :)
So pleased for you, I too can't wait to hear that you've submitted and you've written a thesis - very jealous - I so wish I was on my last night lol :-) Well.... scrub that, maybe not the last night, but the night after its submitted! Gooooooo Chrisrolinski 8-)
Thanks people. I am putting the coffee pot on. I am switching between marking GCSE papers and doing foonotes. In a hour or two I will attempt the abstract!
I hope the abstract is coming along Chris, just that and you're done! You could be at the printers now actually! :-)
Can't wait to read your submitted post!!! (up)
Fell asleep after marking GCSE papers, have formatted the entire thesis as ready to print - except the abstract! Need to write that asap and then dash to the printers before they shut at 15:00!!!!
oh my goodness you are so close!!! I really hope that the abstract is coming on well, will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!!
Hi - I had problems formatting everything and it took ages to re-go over the bibliogrpahy. I am printing it off now and will take it to the binders first thing in the morning. Exhausted.

Well done Chris! Even though you're exhausted, I'm excited for you - you'll be done in a few hours - wow!! Have been too busy working to check the forum and have missed seeing your progress, but am so pleased you're almost done. You're an inspiration Chris, you give me faith that I too, can make it through these last few months.
