Hi Pineapple
You have got a really interesting list of possible activities there.
Like several people have said - you ought to claim JSA as soon as you can - to make sure all your Nat Insurance contributions are up to date.
One of the items on your list - selling your books - is not something I would recommend though. They will be really precious to you in years to come.
Number 20 on your list is very important indeed.
And sometimes an vacancy can occur where you had never considered one.

Hi pineapple,
It's definitely worth a letter to the inland revenue to check your tax was right - if you were working in a portion of a tax year but not in the rest then you've probably overpaid. I've asked more in hope than expectation twice now and been pleasantly surprised by the size of the rebate.
