Aww Teek, I hope you're feeling a bit better today!! If this wasn't an anonymous forum and I was anywhere near you I'd say come over and have all the laptop-free chocolate you want! I continue to live in spanner land, I'm going home for a sups meeting in a week or two and taking the opportunity to go our for a drink with my friends who I'll not have seen in over a month, and when I happily told him my nice plans, it was met with stony silence...apparently I'm not allowed to socialise at this stage, especially not with boys...god. How pathetic.
Anywhoo! I got chocolate!!
Does anyone else get this kind of weird motivated feeling when experiencing PMT? I often think to myself "Wow I'm so much pain, but look at me, I can do this, I can do anything! See how I won't let it affect me!" I guess it must be a combination of hormones/emotions, but I definitely notice more drive at this time
Hi Charls, although I can't empathise completely, I can a bit: my fuzzy, mergey, sensitive thoughts and feelings can sometimes transform into very perceptive ones - It can make me see things very clearly, and much more perceptively than usual. So when I do get down to work I can be more focussed etc.
I take no messing at this time, and can make some very astute, if prickly, comments to people who are being a bit of a pain.
