Thank you to all for the replies. I worked till 2am on that night and went to bed. But Wednesday I drew a blank. I will be working tonight as well. So I hope it will be productive because I need to finish a presentation for tomorrow.
Anybody else up? I am writing a paper to give tmrw in a departmental seminar. I will finish that in about four hours. and then work on some teaching prep for today! arggghhhhhhh!
Quelle suprise! I'm back here again :$
Chapter due this week (well monday really, but it will have to be saturday...)
I'm trying to get this chapter right since a lot of the argument is quite fine. ack. So tired. Running a conference on Friday so hope I won't look too crap. Argh. I wish I could stay up until the wee hours and go into uni without people saying that I look soooo tired.
hey chris! signing in for the nightshift duty, sir yes sir *salutes* lol
nice to have a fellow nocturnal awake and burning the midnight oil! you got me for company. i want to finish reading the book about how to survive a viva and i got 2 chapters left to read. so i'm determined to finish reading it. hopefully wont take too long.

thanks Chris :) and lol glad your enjoying the vitual coffee.
i've just finished reading chapter 9. it was short and snappy about how even after your viva, you will feel like its an anticlimax.
onto the last chapter now !
good luck Chris and miss spacey, keep going, you're doing great!
i'm blowing out my mightnight candle and calling it a day. i finally finished murray's book!!
- thanks so much for the recommendation Miss spacey! it really is a great book for viva prep, i would recommend everyone read it after they submit their thesis in preparation for their viva. its very concentrated, so will take longer to read that you anticipate.
hope you two are okay. (up)
Since my undergrad years I have developed a pattern of staying up late (3-4am) and sleeping in until lunchtime. I've tried on numerous occasions to break this cycle, and sometimes have managed to go for a week or two on normal hours, but my bodyclock always reverts back. I'm at the point of giving up fighting, and just accepting that I'm a creature of the night!
