Anybody ever procrastinate in Yahoo Chat? Professors' chat:1 is wicked.
Also on the night train, viva in one week.
paper ready to send back to the editor for the second round of reviewers comment! :)
ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Checking in for a bit of nocturnal work now (it's 1.50am - sheesh!). Want to have another go at persuading Word to do what it's supposed to do, making my life easier. If that fails there's a fair bit of manual editing required.
And that's me checking out. All captions renumbered (it worked this time - yahoo!), margins set to my university's specifications (despite Word's attempts to foil that maneuvre), title/contents/acknowledgements/declarations/abstract/appendix pages set up, and bibliography added into the main text. Ooh it looks nearly finished! How exciting.
Thanks Sue! I put in more time early yesterday morning, and got to the point of having a PDF of a nearly finished thesis to email to my supervisor to study over the next few weeks. Still have to finish the bibliography, write the abstract, and tidy a few things here and there. But it's looking nearly finished. Which is rather exciting. Had a small bottle of champagne last night to celebrate :)
Urgh! I will be up for a few more hours yet working on a chapter due on friday before I have to fly to the UK for thesis stuff on saturday. plus i have a postdoc proposal to finish by friday, and by 12 am tmrw to have read a 30 page paper to lead with in a reading group.
Sigh. (sprout)
