Is anyone joining me today?
I meant to start work earlier because I'm going out for lunch with the in laws but couldn't get up early. :-(
My first goal is to redraft a conference presentation, following comments from a couple of staff who I practiced with yesterday.
I'm joining you today :-)
I'm at work at a physiotherapy clinic until 6 but it's quiet so I've brought in work with me. First goal is to try to basically finish the introduction for my dissertation. Hopefully by lunchtime I'll have some comments back from my proofreader (also a lecturer) so i can work on those.
Have a lovely day everyone, Nx
Good luck with the intro Natassia.
My first goal is done. It still needs some stuff cutting out because it's too long but I need to rehearse it out loud and time it and my brother in law is here at the moment so I'll leave that for another time...
My second goal is to tidy up one section of analysis.
I had the longest lunch break ever with the in laws and am now really struggling to get back into work! My final goal for the day then is to time my presentation, cut it down and tidy up my slides.
I haven't done enough work recently. I need to get some solid stuff done today. Although I haven't heard from sup for the entire weekend - if she emails/phones today I'll have to drop my pHD work and get on with the RA work. But for now
Goal 1: dog walk
Goal 2: Make a cup of tea
Goal 3: write up a paragraph about different kinds of assessment.
I have 6300 words to un-write from my thesis! Managed 740 on friday night and I have had the weekend off so today I hope to get some more shaved off. Student nanny is coming so hopefully she can deal with babies while I get a few hours in during the day, then I will continue this evening. Very disheartening to do but needs to be done!
ooh maybe you can sell me the extra words??? I need some :-)
Sup just emailed so it will be RA work today.
Goal 1: add question numbers to questions in data
Hi all,
I haven't been seen here for a while now :$ I've been trying to avoid everything work related, because planning my wedding is far more exciting! But I really must get on, as my sup is expecting some writing by Friday (down)
So my first few goals are:
Goal 1- do teaching prep- DONE
Goal 2- read journals in Endnote about attrib
Goal 3- read journals in Endnote about topic 2
Goal 3- read journals in Endnote about topic 3
I also need to find time somewhere to bank a cheque- my grandparents have given my fiance and I £100 for Christmas, how lovely of them!
that will go SO quickly though! Although having said that my brother is getting married in May and hasn't done anything yet!
Happy Monday everyone.
I have been teaching all morning and now have a few bits and pieces to get done, rather than attempt anything too heavy!
My first goal is to complete two application forms for postdoc funding.
Hello everyone.
I'm finally back and well again after coming down with a chest infection (not helped by having crap heating in my flat!!). Lost two weeks to the illness so I'm now feeling half desperate about how behind I am and half lethargic and unmotivated. Not a good combination!
Goals for today as follows:
Goal 1 - finish making notes on statistical technique I may be using - DONE
Goal 2 - think through the data analysis for journal paper I'm writing
Goal 3 - go back to 'to-do' list made before I was ill and prioritise workload
Goal 4 - phone lettings agency about heating still not being fixed.... :-s
