My first goal today is to read the pile of journal article.

Second goal is to start organising thoughts around them.

After wasting my morning 'getting back into it' post-Easter break I am determined to spend the afternoon drafting out the next 2000 words of the paper I'm currently writing.

This week I am finishing the final draft of my proposal for my review in the middle of May, can't believe I'm nearly four months into my PhD already!

First goal for today is to take all the content about gypsies and Irish travellers out as I'm not researching them any more, bit of a relief really!

Second goal is to include some more recent reading.

And I will have to make a banana cake at some point today to use up some over-ripe bananas - I don't really cook so I hope it will be edible!

I abandoned my second goal because my brain feels like mush and I couldn't focus. I did an easier task of drafting out a different section instead.

My final goal for the day is to start to bring together several bits of writing to create one coherent section.

Morning all. So much to do today... My first goal is to pad out and tidy up one literature section.

First goal done, 500 words written. My next goal is to read one article to include and then to head into town over lunch to run a few errands.

Well done star-shaped - I have loads to do today as well but only just starting now due to a stressful morning for other reasons, working from home today. Have to go to work at 3pm so think I will be taking my laptop.

First goal is to spend an hour restructuring my proposal after taking loads of irrelevance out yesterday.

I have now read my article and have ran my errands. My next goal is to rewrite the introduction for one of my data chapters.

Today my goal is to finish redrafting my data chapter and to send it to my supervisor. Have been putting it off for weeks! I will start with sorting out the analysis sections.

Also re-drafting today - aiming for 5,000 words in a presentable form. But that's looking ambitious as I only have until 3.30!

I have now redrafted and am finally happy with my analysis sections. My next goal is to sort out the introduction section.

I managed to restructure my proposal yesterday so it's getting there now, first goal is to write a brief research timeline.

I have now finished my rewriting! :-)

Now I need to sort out some formatting issues and then email to my supervisor. Hopefully this will prompt him to respond to an email I sent him yesterday about my upcoming deadlines. I'll be able to relax so much more over the weekend once I've heard back from him...

Need to finish writing my intro chapter today. It's been going sooooooooooooo slow. :(
