My goals today are:
- print out and edit second half of lit review
- remember to pick son up from school early!
My first goal is done. It took a while because I had a mid-morning gym break.
My next goal is to edit another section.
Second goal is done. My methods chapter is starting to look pretty good (well, satisfactory at least!).
I am going to finish off by responding to the reviewer comments on a paper. I'm aiming to have them all addressed and sorted by the end of the day.
I'm achieving nothing today. Think I'm still not feeling that well. But I have to write this paper by Monday and have only managed two paragraphs so far today! This is really really not good.
You can do it! If you really are achieving nothing because you're not feeling well I'd personally take the rest of the day off and use my time wisely relaxing before blasting it over the weekend. Think of it as using your time more effectively, rather than half-working and feeling fed up with it all by tomorrow.
Yeah, maybe. It's the advice I'd be giving to someone else so I probably should follow it myself! I'm just daunted by how much there is left to do. And I took yesterday off for the same reason. Oh well, I'll do some easy note-making I think and then call it quits and watch rubbish TV or something before an early night. Thanks, anyway!
Good luck Batfink!
My first goal is done, which feels good! My next goal is to print and fill out my intention to submit form (which entails deciding on the title of my thesis...).
Form and thesis title sorted out. My next goal is to address the comments my supervisor made on a draft chapter.
My goal hasn't changed as I only managed the printing out part! Editing still to do (maybe tomorrow as today is a bit busy).
Finished the section I was writing yesterday and am now half way through another section. Trying not to think about how much there is left to do! I'll just have to do what I can in the time I have.
