Have been trying some people that I need info from this morning but no luck so I guess it'll have to wait til tomorrow.
So Goal 1: find useful people - tried but failed
Goal 2 : make final decision between 2 expt options (this could take a while as I am notoriously indecisive :$)
oh dear, well I've just spent the last hour ordering my weekly shop from ocado. I thought it would be quicker than going out to the shops, and I had a £15 off voucher code, but its taken me AGES because I have to imagine walking around the supermarket so I don't miss anything!
going to go and have lunch and then try and do goal 1 :-(
Sneaks- I found it the same when I first ordered shopping online. But if you do it regularly you can order from previous orders and it really does save time, eventually!
Got my reading done. Next goal for the rest of the day is to write 200 words.
Aw Sneaks I've had a rubbish day too.
Went into the office just before lunchtime to chase up the lab guys but they weren't in today so did a u-turn came home with the excuse that it was too sunny to keep the dog indoors all day :$
So I have officially made absolutely no progress all day and only 2 hours til bf gets home :-s
I have just made myself a big mug of coffee, I feel an afternoon calm coming on. Luckily hubs is out at a work meal tonight so a) i can pig out without looking like a pig (up) and b) I can work later today.
OMG its 6:40 and I have finally completed Goal 1!
I would like to get another done, but I have a huge headache caused by a massive amount of sugar and caffeine.
Good going everyone (up)
Well I've only done part 1 of Goal 2 (i.e I've re-read one of the documents I'm meant to be choosing between)
Now I'm starving and really sleepy :$ So I think I'll sign off for the night and hopefully have an extra good day tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone who is working late!!

Good morning all
This is my fifth day without leaving the home. U r lucky Sneaks to have a dog forcing you to go out.
I should work hard during the day, to go to the old city in the evening
so my 1 goal to read chapter 7 of a book, and have my break fast
well I had an awful day yesterday. I think it was mainly down to my diet - I had a load of sugar and caffeine which made me resltess and then headachy. I have a meeting on wednesday that I need to have all this analysis done for and have prepared some other stuff AND hubs would prefer if I took the weekend off. So I have 12 analyses to do!! which means if I am to get anywhere I really should try and do 6 today!
Goal 1: Try and get 2 analyses done before the ocado man arrives.
My one goal (and it is one goal!) is to get this paper uploaded and out of my hair! I did what you did yesterday Sneaks, was feeling a tad hungover after an excellent night out on Tuesday (much needed to let off some steam!) and paid the price for it yesterday! Ended up having far too much caffeine and then couldn't concentrate on anything for more than a minute! Water is the way forward!
Oh dear Lindalou, I don't know how you managed to work at all with a bad hangover! I'm not hungover but had half a bottle of wine last night so slept in later than I'd have liked (as I have been doing for all of the Easter holidays).
Goal number 1 is to get dinner in the slow cooker. Goal number 2 is to write 500 words.
I didn't make my writing goal yesterday afternoon because the stuff I am writing up was confusing me :$
