I've done my goals, modest tho they were. Now lunch and loose women, then,
3. Proof read statement.
4. Proof read everything.
5. Probably do some unecessary, but obligotary, panicking/faffing.
I've done goals 1, 2 and 3. Just about to start the last one. I have also washed the dog which was yesterdays goal - the smell was getting too much!
Goal 1 : Make my Supervisor reply to my emails.
Goal 2 : Agree a final research topic with him.
Goal 3 : Go to PG office and ask for an agreed signed proposal.
Goal 4 : Celebrate the success so far and free pints to everyone in Big Horse Brew Pub
uuuughh....good morning everyone...
todays goal is to start making corrections to my methods chapter....ugh
Morning all.
The last couple of days have been taking up with teaching, boring admin and an afternoon of shopping :$
I need to really get on with writing, so goal number 1 is to get 500 words down.
I'm off for 2 meetings today, so won't be doing much!
Tomorrow I'm out all day for more non-phd boring stuff at uni.
My first task for today was paper based, so I tried not turning on my laptop until that work was done. And I got it done super quick! Just not being distracted by emails and internet and 'oh I'll just take a 5 minute break' moments.
So now, second goal for today is to pull together notes I've already made on data analysis techniques. And goal three will be to prioritise reading for my Methodology section.
Hi All
Today is my first day back trying to get some work done after what I can only class as a mini-breakdown. So I'm going to try to forget about how rubbish I'm feeling and get some work done in an effort to feel better/ less panicky.
Goal 1; read abstract for paper to be submitted at the end of July and try to pick a starting point. I am going to allow myself an hour for this.
Goal 1 done.
Boy that abstract promises alot! I have made a list of 14 areas as a starting point for the paper.
Goal 2: look for info on area number 1
I intend to write as I go along so goal 2 includes producing at least one paragraph on area 1.
