Hi Batfink,
I'm having a bit of a glum day today but doing some reading this afternoon and some amendments to my chapter. I suppose the only thing to do is keep going and chipping away! Hope you are having a good day so far, I hate it when there are problems with public transport, it's all very well being encouraged to use it but when it doesn't work properly it's a real pain!
Afternoon all!
I'm shattered! Left the house at 7 this morning and only just got home, and only just had lunch! My tummy was rumbling like crazy on the drive home.
Anyway, I'm feeling really tired so I'm not sure how much I'm going to get done today.
Goal 1- sort stuff from today and send attendance email
Goal 2- learn next part of presentation
Goal 3- write shopping list
Goal 4- go food shopping
Think that'll be me done for the day!
Afternoon Button, I know what you mean about being knackered when getting home after a long day! If I have to go to a supervisory meeting at uni, by the time I get home I'm generally only good for admin tasks. It's the travelling that gets to me.
I think I have a plan, but I still haven't worked out exactly what I'm going to do. I have a few options open to me so although I'm signing off now I am going to have a little look at them.
See you all tomorrow, I think!
Morning all, hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend!
I was meant to have a big day working yesterday, but ended up with a tummy bug! Still feeling a bit queasy but I think I'll be fine, so I best get cracking!
Goal 1- practice conference presentation
Goal 2- edit findings chapter 2
Morning,
Hope you're feeling better Button, I hate being poorly, it's a time thief isn't it! You plan and plan and then wake up ill!
I had a good bank holiday weekend but I do need to get cracking now!
Goal 1: Read policy document/guidance and work into chapter
As this document is hefty (300 pages) I think that will keep me sufficiently busy today!
Good luck today (up)
I've made great progress; looks like I'll finish editing this chapter today, so I can just print it later and then have a read through it tomorrow.
BUT my tummy bug has come back again :-( and it seems to be the same as yesterday (feeling dizzy/sick then leading to not being able to move from the couch). Going to try and cram in as much work as possible now while I can still sit upright!
Oh Button, if you've made good progress then leave it there and go and get some rest! That's (almost) Dr's orders! You'll just make yourself more unwell if you carry on!
I'm doing ok today, I've re-structured my chapter again and just working on adding relevant bits and pieces from policy into it etc. It's such a nice sunny day today through! I want to go outside :-(
Just thought I'd check in and say hello if there's anyone about! I'm just getting on with my chapter today so wanted to wish good luck to fellow workers out there (up)
Aw glad you're feeling better Button! There seems to be a lot of illness floating about at the moment, I blame the stupid weather! We should all be bouncing around with the joys of spring but there is no spring to speak of!
Anyway I'm doing my best to get on with re-structuring today and making the chapter flow better, as well as strengthening my argument. I hope it's going to be ok but we shall see! We had a case of red wine arrive last night which whilst being no good for my waist line definitely helps me feel less stressed about everything ;-) (I hasten to add I am not drinking it during the day!)
