Yes, that was horrible horrible news yesterday.
Today's main goal: reading for one of the papers I'm writing. I have 3 books to read, so as much as I can get through in one day. But if I start losing concentration I may move onto something else later on.
NOOOOOOOooooooo!!!!!
The stats that I spent all day yesterday doing, about 11 hours are all wrong! I just realised I set the datasheet up int he wrong way, so it all has to be redone! :(
And I thought I was doing so well too....ah hoo!
Algaequeen, that is awful! But remember that these things happen to us all and try not to get stressed about it.
Goal 3 is done- I have (more or less) made it until midday redrafting my chapter and got the first major section done. 5 hours of writing is really starting to take it's toll so I am ready for lunch. After lunch I will tackle the redrafting for one particular analysis.
Morning all.
Things have been a bit quiet on this thread!
I don't like work to eat into my weekends but have a few bits to tie up before I send some stuff to my supervisors on Monday. I'm going to get as much done as I can over the next hour and a half.
yeah, I haven't posted here in the last few days. I've been at uni and then my computer blew up so been busy sorting that out.
Goal 1 today: get dressed! walk the dog
Goal 2: Load programmes onto new computer so can start work.
I haven't posted for a while as I've just been too embarassed by lack of progress - I have family commitments today and a fun run on Monday so tomorrow is my only chance to catch-up.
For anyone working today - I'm sending you motivation vibes (sprout)
I usually use the weekend to get a lot of work done, but it looks like I won't be able to do any this weekend. My parents are just about to arrive (and the house is still a big mess...) and tomorrow we're getting a pony which we have somehow acquired (long story). We'll have to spend most of today getting the field ready. We must be mad.
So, no PhD goals this weekend. :-(
Hi all,
Long time without entering to this forum, really I miss all of you particularly our leader Sneaks hhhhhhh
I am studying very hard and doing a great job, at least I think so, let me wait to see the opinion of my Sup.
I have to submit around 30 pages next week .
Good luck for all
Morning troop!
Today, I need to convert all the literature info I found this week into bullet points, so that I can spend next week turning them into sentences & paragraphs.
Also downloading LaTeX atm, does anyone use it? I'm getting sick of word on my mac, it doesn't even scroll properly any more. grrrrrr
I'll probably get shot for this but I am semi glad that the weather is not glorious today - at least I'm not pining to be outside and can focus on my work!
Hello all! I've been in work for a while now but I was at a concert last night so I've been messing around looking at photos and videos I took, so I thought I'd better sign on and get myself accountable!!
Today the plan is to finish my stats work and write it into a talk for this week, so goal 1 - get looking at my current results and see what further tests I need to do, then do them!
Happy Sunday working everyone!!
