Aww, it's such a lovely movie, I bought it on DVD so I've watched it several times, couldn't resist seeing it on TV tonight! It's really sweet, a quiet kind of movie, and makes me cry every time! I'd definitely recommend it! Especially as a treat for finishing your chapter today, you go girl!! Makes me feel guilty enough to do some more work!
Hey, pink_numbers, that's really cool. I found it useful knowing there were other people doing the same thing as me as well - I think I probably focused more because of that. And maybe because I felt that yesterday I just messed around and achieved very little so wanted to make up for it.
The films sounds good, have to check that out some time.
Time for bed I think. I've had some wine, I feel a bit tipsy! :p
I didn't do much this weekend as was exhausted from last week. I feel quite rough today, but have tea and galaxy (Yes I know, its not yet 9am and I'm eating galaxy but I don't care!). Today's goals.......
- Find old SPSS file and enter data
- Run statistics and write up
-Send to supervisor so it looks like I've been doing something
- Fill out form and send
Today's goals:
1.) Finish off last little bits of essay I mostly finished yesterday
2.) Plan out next essay and start adding in notes I've already made
I'm still feeling tired and sluggish and can't think straight. :-( I've got to have a draft of the second chapter by the end of the week, and I'm only half way there. Please pm me some Galaxy, Sneaks. I neeeeed some Galaxy. It might help me think.
First goal for today: revise section 2.3.1.
(sprout)
lol Moonblue my mum does this with everything! Once things get put in a 'safe place' that's it, it could take months for them to be found again! I found out last week that she had just come across a gift she bought for me, it was in its safe place for so long she can't remember if it was bought for birthday, Christmas or whatever! Still haven't got it... :-)
I can always sniff out the chocolate though!!
My kids always say that my safe place is safe in the knowledge it will never be found again ;-) I'm hopeless sigh - and I so want some chocolate!
Today I have to finish the refs for my essay, complete the editing and get it formatted and ready to submit for tomorrow - I have a feeling its going to be a midnight oil session again :-(
Mmmm chocolate....
Goal one finished! Time to go buy some food (healthy food! but yes, maybe chocolate too) and then get on with goal two.
Bumped into my main sup earlier after a couple of weeks of hovering by his office (I know -I'm a wimp :$). So we have arranged to meet in a couple of days time to try to iron out a thesis topic/paper subject. So I'll spend the next few days furiously reading as much as possible and trying to come up with at least a couple of viable ideas!
Goal 1: re-read funding requirements of funding body
Goal 2: re-read abstract for paper
hmm nearly done the form filling, but the stupid organisation that wants me to fill out the unneccessary form don't have a phone line and won't get back to my email. :-s
trying to run stats, spss is taking a while :-(
