Right then, back to sweets again. The best Highland Toffee bars were the ones covered in chocolate. If I was really lucky, I might be allowed to have a Highland Toffee and a Wham Bar from the Ice Cream man..
Staying with Chewy bars, anyone remember Stripers? Those multicoloured bars?
I love bounty bars too! What gets left in giant tins of Roses/Quality Street in your family homes at Christmas? In our house, it was always the nasty creams left at the end (all the toffees and fudges were eaten first). My friend's family used to do the complete opposite
which ones do toffee penny? Thats my favourite and the purple brasil nut ones.
FYI: I am deeply upset no-one picked up on my hilarious Joan Osborne song-lyric gag on the v.serious thread about religion in response to Dan B's question what if god was one of us?
Does anyone else remember that song........?
I guess it's back to singing to my my cat, at least she laughs at my jokes and enjoys my songs *hangs head in shame & looks for puss*
